The main objective of DIAMant partners is to develop reliable structural fittings and inserts with optimized shape, by using advanced Selective Laser Melting (SLM) Additive Manufacturing (AM) technology, permitting directly embedded optical "ber sensors and connectors for on-line measurement and acquisition of deformation/stress and temperature. The advantages of this development are improving extremely reliability and security level and decreasing maintenance e!ort and installation cost.
