Gaudioso Riccardo

Riccardo Gaudioso is a doctoral researcher specialising in CFD, aerodynamics and heat transfer over ice roughness. He graduated in Aeronautical Engineering at the Politecnico di Milano in 2023.
He is currently involved in TRACES, a European Joint Doctorate network providing high level training in the field of in-flight icing, under the joint supervision of Mariachiara Gallia (TU Braunschweig) and Antonella Abbà (Polimi).
His project focuses on high-fidelity simulations (LES/DNS) of turbulent flows over ice roughness, targeting heat transfer enhancement effects.
