Juan Felipe Cabrera is a PhD candidate in Aerospace Engineering at the COMPASS Lab, working under the supervision of Professor Camilla Colombo. His research focuses on the modelling of in-orbit fragmentation events and the assessment of their short- and medium-term impacts on the space environment, with applications to space traffic management and long-term space sustainability.
