OCTOBER MSCA FELLOW OF THE MONTH

Carmine Giordano, researcher at the Polimi Department of Aerospace Science and Technology (DAER) as part of the DARTLab, has been selected by the European Commission as Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Fellow of the Month for October 2025.

The Fellow of the Month initiative highlights outstanding MSCA fellows and their research projects funded by the European Union.

His project, CASTOR (Challenging Autonomous Spacecraft through Trajectory Optimization with Robustness), develops advanced guidance and control algorithms to enable small satellites to perform autonomous path planning in deep space.

The project is carried out in collaboration with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and ESA’s ESTEC.
