MEETING GARTEUR AG28

The Department of Aerospace Science and Technology of Politecnico di Milano recently hosted the technical meeting of the GARTEUR Action Group 28.

The focus of the group is one of the most challenging phenomena in the future of Urban Air Mobility: the Vortex Ring State (VRS) for eVTOL aircraft, posing significant safety and performance challenges.

Through the collaborative framework of GARTEUR (Group for Aeronautical Research and Technology in Europe), experts from the most important universities and research centers in Europe are working together to refine predictive numerical models for VRS applied to multi-rotor configurations by sharing experimental data for their thorough validation.

Hosting this meeting underlines DAER’s commitment to being at the forefront of European aerospace research on Advanced Air Mobility.

It was an intensive and fruitful session of knowledge exchange, data analysis, and strategic planning alongside top-tier partners from across the continent.

Thanks to all the partners and researchers for the participation!
