The seminar will discuss application of linear stability and resolvent analyses of turbulent boundary layers developing over airfoils, applied in particular for generated by wind turbines.

Dr Simon Demange completed his research master and PhD thesis within the aerospace and aeronautics department of the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in 2021, where his main research topic was the onset of absolute and global instabilities in high-enthalpy round jets.
