For PRISMA, InnoTrans represented an important opportunity to present its approach to smart railway infrastructure monitoring, based on fiber-optic sensing, photonic technologies and advanced data-processing methods.
The project aims to enable continuous monitoring of critical railway assets and support the transition from scheduled maintenance to predictive and condition-based maintenance.
The event also offered a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with industry professionals, infrastructure stakeholders and technology providers, and to discuss how innovative sensing and diagnostic solutions can contribute to safer, more reliable and more efficient railway systems.
