Prof. Alessandro Croce was invited to deliver a plenary lecture at the Airborne Wind Energy Conference 2026 (AWEC 2026) in Porto.
His talk, "From Towers to Tethers: Lessons Learned, Lessons Ahead", reflected on more than twenty years of research experience in the wind energy sector, sharing lessons from conventional wind energy and discussing their relevance for the rapidly growing Airborne Wind Energy community.
