The School brought together 30 participants from around the world, including attendees from Korea and several European countries, for four intensive days of lectures, tutorials, and hands-on activities on the theory and applications of multibody system dynamics. The programme featured contributions from several internationally recognized lecturers, offering participants a broad overview of current research and industrial developments in the field.
The School was directed by Prof. Pierangelo Masarati (Politecnico di Milano) and Prof. Alessandro Tasora (University of Parma), whose longstanding collaboration has helped establish the event as a regular meeting point for students, researchers, and practitioners interested in multibody dynamics.
Since its inception, the Summer School has attracted participants from Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Africa, establishing itself as an international training opportunity for graduate students, researchers, and practitioners in the field.
We thank all participants, lecturers, and organizers for contributing to another successful edition characterized by scientific exchange, collaboration, and a stimulating learning environment.
The next edition of the Summer School will take place in Parma, Italy, on 22–25 June 2027. It will be immediately followed by the 13th ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Multibody Dynamics, hosted at the Bovisa Campus of Politecnico di Milano, Milan, on 28 June–2 July 2027. Prof. Masarati and Prof. Tasora will also serve as Conference Co-Chairs.
The 2027 Summer School will once again provide an international training environment for students and researchers, while the ECCOMAS Multibody Dynamics Conference—one of the leading European conferences in the field—will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, with broad international participation.
